Mr. Fields started his career in the construction industry in 1968 with Spalding Concrete Construction. Thereafter, he moved on to the ready-mix business and became VP of Sales and Marketing for Botsford Ready Mix Concrete.

In 1976, he founded Fields Foundation Company in Kansas City, and in 1991, started Tri- City Contractors, based out of Raleigh, North Carolina. Mr. Fields brings an immense wealth of experience, almost comparable to others within the Nigerian Construction Industry, as he possesses combined capabilities in ready-mix concrete handling and modular formwork use. He is currently the in-country representative of Solid Wall Systems, WA.
